Ettore Sottsass Wooden Living Room Table, Published
Superb wooden living room table designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1959, belonging to the T72 model, for the fine Italian manufacture Poltronova. Published on Ettore Sottsass book at page 73.
The living room table is finely crafted from the finest wood. The structure is supported by four black metal legs, thin and round, but powerful and resistant. The top is also made of fine wood, very durable, and shows the very elegant wood grain. The top is particular because, the legs that join the structure of the top, show very elegantly brass squares, which go to delimit a square. The wood of the square is worked in a different sense from the contour. In fact, a frame is created, within which the wood still changes direction.
The vintage wooden living room table by Ettore Sottsass is ideal for furnishing important living rooms, but it can also be used as a side table or central element.
