Gaetano Sciolari Mid-Century Chandelier in Brass and Glass
by ltwid
Elegant brass chandelier designed by Gaetano Sciolari in the 1950s, of fine Italian manufacture.
The structure of the chandelier is made entirely of gilded brass perfectly in patina. The bell on the reverse covers the stem and leads it to hook onto the wall; descending we see a cylindrical brass tube that serves as the stem of the chandelier, which ends with a beautiful star, the shape of which was carved out of glass and serves as a light cover.
From the central stem start 12 cylindrical tubes from which cylindrical brass structures arise, which go to accommodate the glass star. Each cylinder is decorated with two small stars. The chandelier in total contains 13 lights.
The chandelier is gorgeous and is suitable for rooms as exuberant and playful as he is. The lighting effect created is fantastic.
