Gianfranco Frattini Stackable Side Tables for Cassina, Original Label
by ltwid
Set of four modular stackable or nesting tables, model "780," designed by Gianfranco Frattini, produced by Cassina in 1966. Original walnut wood tables with laminate tops with reversible white or black sides. Original Cassina manufacturer's label.
This is an ingenious system in that the tables are stackable to form a single cylindrical block.
Stacked they save space and fit into any living room, from the largest to the smallest.
The frame is made of walnut-stained beech with a round shape, and features a natural plastic laminated formica top with a monochromatic, reversible design. When the top is lifted, it reveals the different color of the white or black lacquered part underneath.
The model, today as in the past, is particularly appreciated for the great versatility allowed by stacking.
