Gorgeous pair of blue velvet armchairs designed by Gio Ponti in the 1960s for the fine Italian manufacture Casa e Giardino.
The armchairs by Gio Ponti have a rounded shape and have the structure made entirely of durable fine wood, finely worked. On the structure is established the seat and backrest made of a beautiful royal blue velvet, very elegant, in perfect Gio Ponti style.
The base is smaller while it widens at the height of the seat and even more in the backrest, creating the effect of a hemisphere.
The feet that support the structure are 4 and are also made of wood.
The armchairs are excellent to complete living rooms or elegant and eccentric rooms.

Condition:
The armchairs by Gio Ponti are in excellent and original vintage condition, light scratches consistent with use and time. The seat has been totally reupholstered.
