Salvatore Fiume Tre Grazie Bronze Sculpture, Signed
by ltwid
Splendid bronze statue made by Salvatore Fiume in 1988, of fine Italian manufacture. On the base there is the signature of the designer.
The statue is made entirely of painted bronze.
It depicts three women - with the central one embracing the other two - profoundly different from each other in facial features, body shapes and clothing, as if to represent with a good dose of irony the transformation over time while maintaining intact the femininity.
On an iconographic level, the Three Graces, through the course of the centuries, are presented mostly surprised in what is a tender embrace, symbolizing "grace" as a quality of the spirit and of divine feeling that becomes human.
The sculpture of Salvatore Fiume crosses colors such as red, burgundy, blue, black, white and gold, creating a majesty without equal.
Two women are represented dressed, in a completely different way, the central one instead is naked, symbol of fertility.
Salvatore Fiume shows traits inspired by Picasso and De Chirico.
The statue of Salvatore Fiume is ideal as a decorative object protagonist, given its importance and uniqueness.
